SFPD Honors Officers of the Month for October, November, and December

  • April 3, 2026
  • Officer of the Month, Officer Profile

The San Francisco Police Department recently held its Officer of the Month Ceremony at City Hall, recognizing officers and personnel from across the department for acts of bravery, compassion, and professionalism.

Officer Kevin Clifford of Park Station was recognized for October 2025. Off duty when fellow officers canvassed his neighborhood for a missing child, Clifford mobilized his neighbors to assist in the search, ultimately helping locate the child and reunite him with his family.

Also honored for October, Officer Allan Katz of Central Station located an unsheltered mother and her two children and personally paid for a hotel room for the family.

For November, Officers Angela Maniego, Gabrial Benitez-Vasquez, and Brittney Taylor of Southern Station were recognized after discovering an injured victim in San Francisco’s South of Market neighborhood. They rendered immediate medical aid, secured the scene, and helped investigators obtain a suspect description that led to an arrest the next day.

The December honorees were Officer Malia Dudum of Northern Station, Officer Jesse O’Keeffe of the Drug Market Coordination Center, and Officer Budiman Poespowidjojo of the Special Investigations Unit. Working through the department’s Real-Time Investigation Center, the three officers identified a vehicle with a stolen license plate and coordinated a safe arrest after the suspect attempted to flee through oncoming traffic.

The ceremony also included a special commendation for Police Service Aide Wen Li Chan of Park Station. On October 9, Chan recognized a wanted suspect from a crime bulletin during a routine shift, alerted Park Station sergeants, and helped coordinate an arrest in the station lobby.

We’re proud to support the officers who keep San Francisco safe and thriving – thank you for your service and dedication!
